Art Inspiration
Hamlet
- We were too make a comic strip using the abilities we are given in photoshop.
- I tried to make a comic that sort of revolves around a pun, this is what I came up with.
- I kind of like the ending product, there are some mistakes I made while drawing the pig but I guess for the amount of time I had left to work on it I'm satisfied.
- A pun I came up with inspired me while making this comic strip.
- I wish I had more time to add finishing touches and make all the images blend together more thoroughly.

Filtered Self-Portraits
- Create a 3 x 3 grid of self-portraits with different filters applied to them.
- I tried to make as many variations to each image that I could and then add some effects to the entire grid as a whole.
- The stylize filters inspired a lot of my work.
- I am very satisfied with is because overall it seems to blend very well.
- There is nothing I wish to add to it at this time.

Photo505 vs. Photofunia
Flattering isn't it?
Lets start with a quick comparison of the same basic picture concept.
Photo505 Photofunia

Both can offer some realistic depictions of whatever it is your trying to portray but nine times out of ten photofunia is going to offer better results. Photo505 can be good but a lot of the effects don't tend to work out very well, for instance:
As you can see the face did not blend well and it looks unnatural and rather hysterical.
With photofunia I tended to get much better results like these pictures:
The pictures tend to look much more natural. Both programs are hysterical I just feel as though photofunia does a much better job at what it does.
Winner: Photofunia
- This site offers tons of effects to put your taken picture into. Its cool because it tends to do a better job then other websites (photo505).
- Extremely easy to use, try it for yourself.
- Not nearly as in depth as photoshop. Photoshop is professional, this is mostly for a quick laugh.
- Anyone ranging from kids to parents, the only audience this website seems to miss is the professionals but like I said this website does not compare to photoshop at all.
- Both websites I looked at are great for a quick laug or share on facebook/email.
- Absolutely. I think anyone can enjoy this simple website.
Loser: Photo505
- This site offers all the things described earlier it just doesn't tend to do a very good job. It does however seem to do well at having modern effects or pop culture references (iron man 2).
- Extremely easy
- If photofunia doesn't compare to photoshop then this website is completely off the grid.
- Anyone except experts, I'd recommend photofunia though.
- -
- No this website does the same thing as photofunia but it doesn't do nearly as good a job.
Abstract Art Project
- We had to make a piece of abstract art work using photoshop.
- I basically went crazy as far as approach. I used mostly the brush but I didn't really have much of a strategy when I started working.
- The marla video inspired me.
- Surprisingly I think it turned out pretty good considering I only used the brush and filters.
- There is nothing I feel the need to add at this time.

Visual Puns
- We were to take images and create a visual pun.
- I had to think for a while on what to make once I had something I tried to make it look artistic but humorous at the same time. I used filters to keep it looking artistic and effects.
- I was inspired by whatever words that came into my head during the brainstorming phase, I was also inspired by the images that came up during the google search.
- I'm generally happy, there are somethings that stick out to me that I was unable to fix for instance the coca cola logo.
- There is nothing I can really think of adding at this current moment in time.

Psychic
- Just something I was messing around with at the beginning of the year
- Tried to make a scene in which a psychic demonstates his abilites
- I followed a psd tut that inspired me
- I think it turned out ok based on my prior skill with photoshop
